Commission rules

Hey everypony, here are my commission rules as journal (I'll need to link to it now and then).


Important: Read the whole section before commissioning anything. I don't make sketches or drawings, I'm a vector artist. My vectors are show-accurate and I'm very picky about them, that's why they take some time.

Misc
please see my deviantID box on my dA page for infos about the slots and only send me a request if a slot is free.

I don't work on more than one at the same time because I'm often involved in group collabs and I have my own projects running (not to mention the admin work for the VectorClub).

Please do not send me any points or money in advance, I don't take payment for work I haven't done yet.

Please include references and/or a proper character description, I can't come up with an OC for you. I will reject requests for OCs without proper concept.


Prices:
Request type #1:
A complete new vector with your OC. Please specify the pose and expression you want or include references.
Starting price: 800 points or Paypal $10

Request type #2:
An adaption of your OC on one of my existing vectors. Please specify the vector you want and include the OC references.
Starting price: 480 points or Paypal $6

Request type #3:
A vector of a sketch or drawing you (or someone else with their permission) made. Please not too distorted or dark. If it's a sketch, please tell me the colors if it's no show character.
Starting Price: 480 points or Paypal $6

These prices equal an hourly wage of around $2, the additional work I mentioned below not included.
I take BTC (bitcoins), first three customers to use it get a 20% discount



My customer service:
If you want me to, I can send you a note or a mention with a link to the livestream when I'm working on it, in case you want to see the progress. I'm usually vectoring between 1700 and 0000 GMT, but not every day.

Any edits later are for free, e.g. if you want me to change the cutie mark or the expression. Changes that require me to redo the whole thing obviously not.

I don't do shading. Yes, I can do shading. No, I don't, because I want to keep it all vector and shading with vectors is a pain in the flank.



Payment
There are two ways how you can pay me, either via points or via Paypal.

If you pay me in points, I will use it to pay for premium or donate it to groups or people I like.

If you pay me via paypal, I will donate your money to either Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors without Borders) or Nothingbutnets.net, which are both great non-profit organizations run by volunteers to improve the health condition for the people in mostly Africa. (They also don't spend your money on advertisement, unlike Unicef for example.) In some cases I might pick another good cause I want to help out. This is not a charity drive, I'm not obliged to do anything, I do that because I don't need the money as much as others do.
Think about it: You get your requested artwork for a small amount of money plus you know you helped a good cause. (If you're a redditor and/or buddhist: This is real karma.)
You can pay whatever you want, but every dollar/euro you spend will be donated.
